Ayano no Koufuku Riron / Ayano's Theory of Happiness
Ketiga anak itu menyebut diri mereka monster karena 'mata merah' yang mereka miliki. Namun, Ayano berusaha bersikap sepereti seorang kakak dan mengatakan bahwa itu tidak benar. Ia mengatakan bawah warna merah itu adalah warna seorang pahlawan, kemudian menunjukan sebuah buku bergambar pahlawan sambil mengenakan syal merah dan membentuk sebuah kelompok rahasia.
Suatu ketika, Ayano mendapat berita buruk yaitu ibunya meninggal dalam kecelakaan tanah longsor. Ayano terus berkata pada dirinya sendiri kalau ia harus bisa menjadi kakak yang baik untuk ketiga saudaranya dan terus menghibur mereka.
Hingga pada suatu saat, Ayano tak sengaja melihat ayahnya yang merencanakan sebuah eksperimen terhadap kedua sahabatnya yaitu, Haruka dan juga Takane.
Untuk menyelamatkan semuanya, Ayano memutuskan untuk bunuh diri dengan melompat dari atap gedung sekolahnya agar bisa mendapat kekuatan mata. Sayangnya, yang Ayano tidak tahu adalah ia harus mati secara berpasangan agar bisa masuk ke Kagerou Days. Ayano mendapat kekuatan mata, tapi tidak bisa keluar dari Kagerou Days.
